We are now seeking a passionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Sunshine Cares, you will play a vital role in the care and support of our home based residents. CNAs are the heart of our organization, providing essential daily care, assistance, and companionship to those in our care. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output as directed.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Follow care plans and provide emotional support to residents.
• Report any changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse.

Qualifications:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Utah is highly desirable but is not always required.
• Ability to become trained and certified as a Nurse's Aide within 4 months of employment.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus.
